  For eligible applicants with exceptional research proposals or prior research achievements.
   
• Award for Leaders in Emerging Markets (2023/24 intake and onwards)
  For eligible applicants based in a country with an economy that has been classified as an emerging market.
   
• Award for HKUST Alumni (2023/24 intake and onwards)
  For eligible applicants who are HKUST alumni of degree programs.
   
• Award for Women Leaders (2022/23 intake and onwards)
  For eligible female candidates who are able to demonstrate strong leadership and an excellent track record in representing gender and viewpoint diversity market.
   
• Award for Leaders from Non-Profit Organizations and Public Sectors (2022/23 intake and onwards)
  For eligible candidates who have a strong background in NPO and public sectors.
